I don't get anything but complicated cases… I've been fortunate to have many high profile cases, and to get the best possible results in difficult circumstances.
The government intervenes with an arrest when people aren't dealing with the problems that they have… We're not here just to solve criminal problems. We try to get a complete view of the client and get them help for whatever else is going on - substance abuse, psychological issues, health issues, anger management, whatever they need. Otherwise, we won't take the case.

In civil cases, handcuffs are not involved… we represent the plaintiff, the individuals who stand up to wrongdoing and to the persons or entities that have caused them harm.
