Notable achievements: Prior to entering private practice, David worked as an attorney with the Charleston County Neighborhood Legal Assistance Program, and was commissioned to the United States Marine Corps where he earned the rank of Captain in the Judge Advocate General Corps at Camp Pendleton, California.
